What to expect during an MRI scan?
- An MRI usually can take 30-45 minutes, depending upon specific requirements.
- Once you are in the machine, you will be given a call bell to stay in contact with our team.
- You will be given headphones or earplugs to help you relax and block out the noise.
How to overcome fears regarding MRI scans?
If you have come across people who find MRI exams fearsome, know that these people are taking from past experiences or from hearsay. Today, the technology is far better and much more advanced, and the machines are much broader; hence, the fear of "claustrophobia" is reduced drastically.

- Metal fragments in your eyes from welding
